Issue 59 July – August 2015
After a cabinet reshuffle and now going ‘Napoleon Solo’ with the magazine, I couldn’t have dreamed an all star Yul Brenner “Magnificent 7” line up like what I ended up with. Speaking with Tito Jackson the coolest bro bar MJ was special as I’ve been a J5 fan practically all my life. Taking it back to church I spoke with Glenn Jones and two new school soul survivors Maimouna Fresh and Tony Ozier courtesy of KFP Enterprise. I spoke with “Yours Truly” Mr “Jamaica Funk” Tom Browne and Cool Million’s Frank Ryle and Rob Hardt. In contrast I had a face to face a filmed the interview with Port Oregon’s jazz soul sensation Jarrod Lawson and a trip down Fela Kuti lane with his keyboardist from Hackney East London Dele Sosimi. Not bad for a Bamber Gascoigne starter for ten eh?
